Mari is the consummate professional whose work is exemplary! She takes the stress and worry out of your special day by always arriving early. Mari is an expert in her craft and remains state-of-the-art by always offering the best and recent products and makeup. She personalizes her makeup for everyone! Mari truly is the best.

Mari is truly the best. She did 7 women for my sister's wedding in September and everyone looked amazing. From the mother of the groom to the bride herself, Mari took her time in making sure everyone looked their very best. She was early to set up and stuck to our schedule. If you are looking for someone to give you a natural look for your wedding day, definitely book Mari!

Simply stated,Maricella is amazing! She is truly gifted in her craft and so talented. She works wonders with her makeup techniques and can deliver on the full spectrum of looks - from natural to glam, and everything in between, she can do it all! Mari did my makeup for a wedding in June - I’ve gotten my makeup done so many times over the years and the final product by Mari was by far my favorite! She’s extremely professional, knowledgeable and fun - I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Mari is a true artist and a dream to work with! She listened to what I liked but also helped me step out of my comfort zone. Not only did she do makeup for me and 7 others on my wedding day, but she also did my makeup for my engagement pictures and bridal portraits! We all looked GORGEOUS and received compliments all night. False eyelashes were an added bonus that completed our look. We all looked fabulous and our makeup lasted all night! I am continually impressed by her skills and will use her for any event I have in the future. If I could give her more stars I would!

Maricella was absolutely awesome! She listened to exactly what I wanted (even though I probably didn't communicate it very well) and executed perfectly! She was timely, quick and made me feel comfortable. I booked her services for my engagement shoot based solely on her online samples of work, and ended up securing her for my wedding. She is reasonably priced and worth every penny!

Mari was absolutely amazing!!! From communication before the wedding, to the day itself, she made the whole process easy and stress free. We had a double bride wedding and our makeup was absolutely flawless!! This is even more impressive because our wedding was in 95+ degree heat in Houston and it lasted all day and night! She was absolutely professional and kind the entire process and worked so well with each of us. I would recommend her ten times over!!!

Auh-MAZE-ing! If I could give 10 stars followed by a million exclamation points, I would. Words cannot express how unbelievably happy I was with Makeup by Mari. She was professional, patient, listened to what my girls wanted, and did an amazing job on my entire bridal party, my mom, and my mother-in-law. When Mari was finished with my makeup, I cried tears of joy (no joke)! I couldn't believe how beautiful and natural she made me look and feel for my special day. I did not truly feel like a bride until I had the Makeup by Mari touch!

Oh my gosh, Mari was amazing!!! My daughter got married in Cabo in June and Mari came to do the makeup. Probably the best value I got throughout the whole wedding process! Worth every penny. We took over the spa at the resort, and she did a great job of staying on track. She had enough product for all the different skin types, colors, etc. She did an excellent job, totally professional! My friends were impressed by how natural we all looked. I would recommend Mari 110%! FABULOUS!!!

Mari is an amazing make-up artist and she will be the perfect inclusion to your team for the big day. Mari will make you feel comfortable and relaxed while she works her magic! I have used Mari for a couple different occasions including wedding guest and headshots for work (I was suffering a really bad breakout at the time and was blown away by the finished results). I love her style, it always looks classy and beautiful. She's trustworthy and reliable, and I will continue to use her in the future. Definitely recommend!

I've had my makeup done by Mari for two occasions and both times I left feeling beautiful. Mari will instantly make you feel comfortable as if you have been lifelong friends! She has a lot of experience and offers both traditional and airbrush makeup. She knows exactly what will look good on you and can do glam or natural makeup. I also liked that she explains what she is doing before each step, which makes you feel more at ease! She is also very reasonably priced, which is a huge plus. :) Book Mari for all your makeup needs, you will not regret it!

Mari is an AMAZING makeup artist! She is extremely knowledgeable in all facial and makeup products! I’ve had multiple friends of all different skin types that have used her for their weddings and they have looked drop dead gorgeous! She is always on time and is super fun to work with!! Definitely recommend her!

I was so happy with my makeup for my maternity pictures!! Mari nailed the natural look I was going for and knew just the right combinations of makeup which would make a difference in the pictures. Whether you want full on GLAM or you're looking for that "I don't have makeup on" look, Mari can do it all. She will execute the look you know you want or customize a look for you if you're unsure! When you meet her you'll know you chose the right girl immediately and you'll make a friend right from the start. You can't go wrong here! <3

It was a great decision to go with Mari. She’s not only talented and professional, but beautiful and fun to talk with as well. Her studio is lovely and clean! No worries about sanitary standards here, Mari uses fresh brushes and wands for each client, unlike some other makeup artists. And the makeover was amazing! She knows so much about color matching and making your best features stand out. My skin looked flawless and when I saw the photos, I was so happy with how I looked...and that doesn’t happen often! Check out the before and afters on her website. They are unretouched pics (not photoshopped) so what u see is the real thing.

Mari is simply the best! She did make up on my wedding day for myself, bridal party of 8, and my mom. Everyone looked stunning! I wanted a look that was natural, elegant, but enough glam to "glow" for the pictures. She tackled this perfectly, and my make up stayed intact the entire night! If you want quality work done by a quality person, then Mari is definitely your girl!

Mari does my makeup every time I get professional photos taken. I always just let her do “her thing” with very little guidance and my makeup always looks perfect and lasts the whole day. She also makes the whole process fun! Highly recommend her!

Mari was amazing! She is very professional and knowledgeable. She recommended a bridal skin care regimen that has left my skin looking younger, firmer and brighter- perfect for my special day! She was extremely detailed and talented applying my makeup for my engagement shoot. She was cognizant of the environmental setbacks (extremely hot and humid) and chose a look and makeup appropriate for that day. It wore all day! I would highly recommend Mari for any event!

After a couple unsatisfactory bridal makeup trials, I was beginning to lose hope--then I found Mari!! She was up front about what products would look best on me and made sure she was on track for the look I was going for. Best of all was that the makeup did not feel heavy on me at all! For someone who doesn't wear foundation/powder on a daily basis, it was a turn off when other makeup artists packed on products. Mari simply enhanced my natural features to make me look like a better version of myself <3 I can't wait for the real deal on my wedding day in November!!

I loved getting my makeup done with Mari! I was nervous due to some bad experiences getting my makeup professionally done in the past, but she made me feel relaxed and most importantly beautiful. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job! She is up to date on all of the makeup trends but still keeps the look timeless, elegant and clean. Highly recommend Mari for weddings or any event that you want to be "made up" for!

I had a wonderful experience getting my makeup done by Mari. She gave a fresh, natural look that was perfect for my daytime event. She has great experience (took a class with Kim Kardashian’s makeup person, Mario) and has been doing weddings for a few years now. She works with quality products and is enjoyable to be around. I feel her prices are more than fair for the end result I got! Check her out!
